Data Scrum Master

One of  our client a well reputed higher education institution in London is looking for a dedicated Scrum Master (outside IR35 Contract) to join a forward-thinking team and make a significant impact on delivering a new CRM project for . 

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach the Agile team in applying Lean Agile and Scrum to achieve business value.
• Facilitate Agile team ceremonies & practices.
• Drive delivery of the client outcomes in line with business expectations.
• Create an environment which moves teams towards high performing teams.
• Ensure the teams remain focussed on what our clients are telling us and help drive innovation across the product.
• Work to remove impediments and blockers for the team.
• Coach stakeholders in expectations from Lean Agile and Scrum Framework.
• Lead and coach Agile teams to achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity at a sustainable pace.
• Support and educate Product Owners on backlog grooming and maintenance.
• Provide guidance to teams on self-organization and filling gaps in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Enhance transparency and communication within and outside the team.
• Ensure the project goals, scope and product domain are understood by everyone within the team
• Utilise techniques for effective backlog management, including the creation of clear user journeys
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the development teams
• Work with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and teams to ensure the backlog is current and prioritised
• Be able to report on progress to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of five years experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and empowerment.
• Exposure to various Agile methods and techniques such as Kanban, XP, SAFe, Agile Games, and Retro formats.
